The Shear Comfort Classic XD1900 Wool Overlay is a sheepskin topper designed to provide comfort when used in a chair or on a bed. Ideal for those with fibromyalgia or suffering from diffuse chronic pain and tender muscles. The Shear Comfort Overlays made from XD1900 use high-density wool woven at 1900g per sqm for pressure redistribution and added comfort. The fabric-backed sheep’s wool is unique to Shear Comfort and has a higher fibre density than most sheepskins, allowing for excellent pressure distribution.
The Shear Comfort Classic XD1900 Wool Overlay wick away moisture which would usually lead to skin damage and ulceration. Placing the overlay on a bed can turn a standard mattress into a pressure care mattress. A wool overlay decreases restlessness and improves sleep quality through the excellent temperature, perspiration regulation and air redistribution properties of wool. Available in two colours.
